Remote Support Product Finder
Remote support products allow you to directly control a troubled computer via remote control over the Internet. Remote support services, often supplied by the same vendors who offer remote access services, make the task of connecting to, and controlling the troubled computer very simple. But since the licensing is generally done on a "per technician" basis, and that technician can support an unlimited number of clients, the licenses tend to be fairly expensive.
Unless otherwise noted, all products include:
- Live Chat - enables onscreen texting between technician and client
- Reboot/Reconnect - allows technician to reboot and automatically reconnect after making changes that require a reboot.
- Login as Administrator
- Unattended Access - allows the technician to access unattended systems when the client isn't available to authorize access
- Multi-session support - technician can toggle between multiple support sessions
- Windows and MacOS support (Features may vary between OSes)
How to Use This Finder
- Checking the box or setting the selector in the left hand column will filter for products with those features
- Clicking on a feature name will sort by that feature
- Mousing over each feature in the left-hand column will bring up a tooltip with a description
- Clicking on a colored section title bar will collapse / expand the section
